The Evidence Based Conference Is Heading To Miami

We're heading to sunny Miami this March 9 - 11, 2016, and we've got three groups we're taking through our conference. If you are seeking to become an evidence-based organization, practitioner or want to get a handle on vicarious trauma & traumatic stress, we've got a track for you.

Plan now to join us along with other practitioners and experts for these certificate programs developed to prepare practitioners and organizations to become evidence-based and achieve certification in the process. They emphasize practical approaches for immediate application, skills development and career growth.

Have You Decided To Become Evidence-Based?

If you answered YES, then come along with your colleagues, fan out and train on how you can become an evidence-based as an organization or as a practitioner.

Track 1 - Want To Become An Evidence-Based Organization (EBO)?

12

For a focus on the evidence based organization, this is the track for you.  Well-meaning organizations adopt model programs and practices with which to serve clients. Frequently this occurs in the absence of an evidence-based organizational framework. Such initiatives become unsustainable and then fade away when funding is exhausted. On the other hand, programs installed at evidence-based organizations (EBO's) thrive, are sustainable over time and consistently produce desired client outcomes.

Track 2 - Become An Evidence-Based Practitioner (EBP)?

13

If you are an evidence-based individual and looking to develop, this is the track for you. Participants in this training will be in a position to learn evidence-based "common elements" they must practice to successfuly help their clients achieve durable outcomes - vs punishing, warning or "rehabilitating". Practitioners must remain courageous and choose proven pathways in practice.

Track 3 - Are You Looking To Tackle Vicarious Trauma & Traumatic Stress?

14

A tremendous amount of effort is rightfully expended to insure professionals receive training and are equipped to address the needs of clients. On another hand the training needs of staff to care for themselves in light of the fatigue associated with the compassionate requirements of working with these same clients receives far less attention than is deserved.  Recognizing and addressing its impacts and will have immeasurabe benefits to your organizations bottom line.
