Joyfields Institute To Hold San Diego Evidence Based Conference For Substance Abuse

Joyfields Institute Plans San Diego Conference for substance use and abuse prevention, treatment and management. Joyfields will hold this evidence based conference May 19-22 for evidence based professionals seeking to grow while getting accredited learning hours. The event, which will be held at the Hilton Hotel San Diego Mission Valley, will help attendees learn how to best respond to those struggling with substance abuse in their life.

During the event, attendees have the opportunity to take classes on substance abuse, cognitive behavioural approaches, and motivational interviewing. Classes will be taught by Mark Lowis, Evidence Based Implementation Specialist, Michigan State Community Health, Saleem Shakir-Gilmore, associate faculty, and Abe French, president of Thinking Matters.

This San Diego conference is a great opportunity to Interface and network with top experts and peer professionals with varied backgrounds and experiences. Attendees also have the opportunity to earn 13 to 26 CE training hours towards maintaining their personal accreditation.
